I had this on my astra van..ive got some fuel injection cleaner off net called forte (cant seem to buy it in shops) cost about ten pounds and solved the problem

Crankshaft sensor is located on the right side of the cylinder block behind or under the starter. It is fitted into the rear crankshaft oil seal hausing
