Question about 1990 Chevrolet Suburban
HERE is your firing order. this truck did not come with vortec heads so either engine or heads ahve been swapped.

All chevy engines including dodge have the same fireing order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 and dist cap rotates clockwise ford rotates couter clockwise and has a different order 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 the reason you see #1 and #8 pistons at TDC is that one is on its exaust stroke and one is on compression stroke. hope this helps FORDMOTORHEAD
