Question about 1997 Lincoln Continental
When I start the car the check traction control light comes on. I hear some noise from the front right side of the car and then it stops. Has wnyone had this problem &/or any information on the cause/corrective actions? Thanks
I can't give you an explanation for why the car is telling you to check trac. control but i can try to give some help on maybe fixing it. Try - turning on the car, turn the traction control off, turn the car off, turn the car on. Then turn the traction control back on and push the system check button. That should i guess "reset" the trac control system.
Now the noise from the front right of the car is MOST LIKELY the air compressor pumping air into the bags. (i own a 97 Continental but i've never had a problem witht the trac control)
