Question about 2005 Nissan Altima
2005 nissan altima, - you can be driving the car down the road and once the car gets warm, the car jerks it almost feels like the transmission jerking, but once the car jerks and you stop and you start to take off the car is really sluggish acting and the service engine light came on when it did the whole jerking thing. And it said it was the speed and crank sensor but we have replaced both and reset the codes but car is still doing the same thing.
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I just had the same problem with my '02 altima SE.
Took it to Buckeye Nissan in Hilliard OH. and they had to replace the two crank sensors which.
The sensors themselves were about $44.00 a piece, but w/labor about $300.00 was the total. Hope this helps.....Now if I can just get the heater working!

SOURCE: rough idle, steady idle of
1999 Surburban. Rough idle when engine is cold for about 3-5 min and then it starts to smooth out. Any ideas why the engine would act like this?.
