Probably located in the body close to the fuel tank on the passenger side....You will have to look under the car rear left side...It will be mounted to the body with a metal strap.....Be careful a fire hazard exist when changing this filter............
What are your symptoms 1) No temp reading on dash gage...2) Staying at high idle (open loop ECU)....3) No cooling fan operation......Do not run this engine Hot...Blown Head gasket hazard exist.............
The gas tank sending unit would not affect the odometer. The sending unit in the tank grounds the gauge. You could have a problem with the printed circuit board in the instrument cluster.

when tracers stop out of the blue like this, it can be a number of things. #1 is fuel pump failure or pump relay, or fuse. check to see if there is perssure at fule rail. check fule pressure regulator. #2 is ignition coil failure, or no spark. check plug wire from coil for spark. that will get you going in right direction. good luck.
