Replace it because it is almost worn out and when it goes out, you have to tow it.

Can clutch pedal be adjusted?

The first thing I would do is to replace the master cylinder as the compensating port may be blocked causing this problem. It is an indication of a worn clutch but having this problem at my expense I learnt to do the cheap fix first as clutch kits are worth about 5 times the price of a m/cyl.. Normally hydraulic clutches are not adjustable

How do you adjust the clutch on a 1992 chevy wt five speed

ther is no adjustment, if your pedal is low check the master cylinder or the slave if neither are leaking or has any air in the system you need a new clutch. ae367db2-8b7d-4aa6-b76c-bb1d347b79a6.gif

How do i tighten my clutch cable on my 1992 isuzu pickup?

If this has the cable clutch then there should be an adjustment nut which is longer than the two nuts on each end. You can place a wrench on the smaller nut on one end and turn adjustment nut to change tension.

My 1992 Ford F250 pickup when you push in the clutch it doesnt disengage the gears and doesnt shift. Is there a adjustment to tighten up the clutch pedal

Those clutches aren't adjustable at all. Sounds to me like either the Clutch Master Cylinder is bad (or could even need fluid) or the Slave Cylinder is bad. If it needs fluid there's possibly a leak between the 2.

It s a bit like how long is a piece of string. Many different things come into it,like driving habits, loads etc.BUT it needs adjusting when the freeplay is running out. There is not set mileage to do this.A lot of vehicles have auto adjusting clutches. Its actually the clutch slave cylinder that gets adjusted or is auto. Not the clutch itself.197000 miles is a lot and most cars would need a new clutch by then.Hope this helps
