SOURCE: REMOVING MY FRONT SEATS FROM MY 95 NISSAN MAXIMA

There are 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor. 2 in front and 2 in rear. You will need 14mm socket and ratchet or wrench. You will also have to unplug some connectors under the seat, before you take it out of the car.

You will need a new motor. Nissan has an updated motor for it. There is a TSB for the motor replacement.

I have a 2006 Nissan Maxima SE, my heated seats just stopped working but the lights on the heated seats button still turn on, I'm just not getting any heat. Is there a fuse I need to replace? If so does...

check to see if there is a fuse panel on the driver's side of the dash and if not check under the hood - also if you have a owners manual for the vehicle it should tell you where to locate it

Where is the fuse for the heated seats in a 2007 jeep grand cherokee laredo?

Remove the ignition key. Unplug the HSM (heated seat module). It is under the passenger seat. You can easily accomplish this with the seat all the way back. Wait a few seconds they plug it back in. Start the engine. Turn the seats on. If the indicator lights come on for 2 seconds and then go out, further diagnostics is required. Hopefully they'll stay on and the seats will be working fine.

Thanks,
Ron

2002 nissan maxima driver seat won't work all electric is it the motor or need a new seat

Have the switch tested for the seat and also verify the seat has power to the switch before you do any parts replacing. Power seats have more than one electric motor and it very unlikely that all would stop working. Go under the seat and locate the heavy connector that comes out of the rug and connects to the seat, using a 12 volt test light probe the connector and see that at least one of the heavy wires there is "hot", you may need the key on. If you find no power check owners manual for the location of the power seat fuses, they are likely under the hood. Good luck and hope this helped. Heated seats in 2007 Lincoln MKX not working. I puch the button to turn them on and they light up for a second then go off. What would be the cause and solution. If it was a major problem would effect...

Help anybody?
I have a 2010 Lincoln MKX with heated and cooled front seats. However, when I try to turn them on (85% of the time) they don't work. Primarily when it's cold the heated seats won't stay on... The light turns on for a fast count of 1-5 and then turns off. This has happened since the car was new and I've had it into the dealer 4 times to have it fixed (with no resolve). In their defense they suggest it's fixed each time because they test the heated seats when the vehicle is warm in the shop. Unfortunately, this is nearly the only time it stays on.
I would love to recommend a suggested fix to the dealer as they don't seem to be able to repair it... Any ideas???

It's the switch circuit, probably. You should have it checked.
