Question about Ford Cars & Trucks
The problem is described. I can feel some dust type powder (direct invisible) comes at my face. But in half an hour any body can feel something at my face. I put on A/C at MAX. Hence the outside vent is closed but still i feel like open the glass and stop A/C while driving for better breath. Because i dont feel comfortable breathing. What should i do because i am unable to continue with car in this condition.
With a very efficient a/c on max there will be cold air from the vents ( like a mist) I suspect thet if you go down from max ther will not be a problem. What I suspect you have is air almost at the snow forming temp

I have the 03 Expy with continuous rear air unit "clicking" or more accurately flapping of the air damper while the plastic gears in the 2L2H-19E616-AA grind away into toothlessness. Ford designed this unit to find the end of travel by jamming the motor to a stop and monitoring the current to determine when to stop applying voltage. That would probably be fine if the gears were designed to handle the jammed torque or the motor did not slip out of groove and continue turning and cracking the plastic gears.
There are two white colored boxes, one is for the temp plenum door, the other the upper/lower air flow. To be sure, do what I did, turn on the ignition, rear ac/heat and listen for the obnoxious click/thump as you move the temp control from full heat to full cool, you will know which part. Disconnect the electrical connector, four bolts and it is out!
Go to your dealer, part should be about $60 or less, look on line, lots of dealers sell for this or less on internet.

I would be looking at a shorted blower resistor it is located behind the glove box on the HVAC housing. Prob the switch contacts with a 12 volt test light if the bulb intesity does not change the blower resistor is bad. The resister is at fault about 99% of the time.

It sounds like the control motor switching from hot to cold is stuck halfway in between the two temp settings. You will have to take it down and replace it, it is mounted under dash passenger side near the blower motor.

the next thing to check would be the selector motors, these motors are what move door to get floor or defrost or vent air and also hot/cold air, look under the dash try to find them, there bolted to heater box, there are 3, locate one by one then move every control and watch to see linkage move find the one that doesnt move and thats your problem, hope this helps.heres a picture to help you know what it looks like.
