SOURCE: rear heat in 2004 gmc

I have a 2006 yukon and have had to replace the actuator in the rear heat/ac twice.  It moves a valve that closes the cold/hot ducts.  It is a cheap defective part/design.

This is not un- common. The heating elements do wear after a while. It is probably an open circuit in one of the pads in your seat. A quick restance check can determine which one it is.

Replace the ECC 10ma fuse on the driver's side fuse panel.

SOURCE: Heated seats won't stay on in 2004 GMC Yukon Denali

See GM TSB 05-08-143-001, If you have Adjustable pedals, especially if they don't work with the memeory buttons, but function with thier own buttons. Its the Brake Pedal Position Sensor is shorted and mesing up the seat module which controls the heaters too. My 05 Suburban had the same issue

My driver seat will not move back or forwards, and the seat warmer will not turn on. Would this be a blown fuse or a wiring problem?

Hi, the power for seat movement and heat are from different sources, but all the wires go thru the same connector. That connector may be under the seat and may have been subjected to spillage or otherwise corroded. See if you can find that connector and if corroded, clean it up.

Check Fuses, also could be a problem with BCM ( Body control module)

Driver's side power seat and heat in both seats not working

hello, have someone check all fuses-and plugs for the power seat, they may be a relay for this problem, can call autoparts store and ask about any relays for the heated seats and the power seat, if thats not it you may have to replace, electric motor for seat, sounds like a fuse, the way it all quit working..

2004 yukon seats are not working/heated seats not working

Check the fuses, the owners manual should be able to help you there.

My 2004 yukon's heated seats will not stay on. The button lights up for a few seconds and then turns off. This happens on both the drivers and passenger side.

Mine did that forever, but started working after the instrument cluster was replaced. It started to show 100 mph in a parking lot. Dealer replaced it for free, and now every little quirk seems to have disappeared, including the heated seats. They are very nice lately. Damn cold here.

I have a 2003 2500 suburban, cloth seats, and the drivers seat needs to be replaced. The original seats were not heated and did not have airbags. I just purchased a pair of 2004 yukon power leather seats...

look under the carpet and see if the plug is are there, even though your truck didnt have them all the wiring should be there, you will have to get a new dash control as well, go to a scrap yard and locate one. again the wiring should already be there as well as the fuse setup.
