Lower brake lights only work when I manipulate turn signal. Any idea how to fix this problem?

Sounds like you need a new turn signal switch. The lower brake lights are wired through the turn switch. When you fiddle with the turn lever with brake pedal pressed, you are making old worn contacts touch again. A new or even used turn switch should make it work right again.

Check the wires going to the brake light switch they brake often and check the switch. Step on the brakes first and make sure you have lights if not proceed to switch and wires at brake pedal

I changed my rear brake pads one weea ago i have just descuvered to day that i have no brake lights working , can u help me

Hi!

Changing the brake pad has nothing to do with the brake light unless you touched the switch thats under your brake pedal. Or you might have a burnt light bulbs. Good luck

I have a 1995 Maxima, and the brake lights keep going out as the 15 amp fuse under the dash keeps blowing. The tail lights themselves work, and all the other lights work. No brake lights will work. I'm...

TO SIMPLIFY,fuse box-pedal switch-tail light cluster, maybe something inbetween but hardly likely...start with cleaning the contacts for the brake bulbs as they may have verdigris on the brass connectors, then change the switch, then worry.

My break light aren't working and i have replaced all bulbs but one. and my truck wont open.

Have you ever replaced the brake light switch on the brake pedal? Those switches tend to last about 10 years or 100k miles, whichever comes first. Don't buy the cheap one made in China. It is a little tough to get the old one off without bending the bracket. Small hands and a collection of different pliers help. Once you get the old one out and the bracket straight, the new switch snaps right in.
If the trunk lid fails to open with the key, most likely the plastic snaps in the end of the linkage between the button and the latch have worn out, and the linkage has popped out of the arm in the latch. You have to snap down the liner and open the latch by hand, and then re-attach the linkage. The new plastic snap is only about $1 at the dealer. We recently had one that was so worn that a new plastic snap just popped back out. We had to put a tiny zip tie on it to keep the linkage in place.

Brake lights stick on

It sounds like the brake light switch down on the brake pedal is stuck and it needs replaced,Its got like a push button setup when you apply the brakes the brake pedal pushes the brake switch button in brake lights come on and when you relase the brake pedal the button on the switch comes back out and brake lights go out but if switch is worn out or sticking the lights will stay lit even when off the brake pedal so just replace the brake light switch down on the brake pedal.

1998 tahoe brake lights don't work replaced switch still dont work touch and go

There is a clip that gets worn on the brake pedal that holds the switch tight to one side. It must be put on correctly or else the brake lights will come on for a split second and then go out when you push the brake pedal down further.

Brake light is on and chime is on

No the light and chime does not indicate worn out brake pads or shoes.
However, you were correct to add fluid to the correct level.
Just to be clear, you are talking about the red brake indicator light on the dash and is not accompanied by the amber ABS brake light.
If the ABS light is not involved, there is a magnetic switch located in the brake master cylinder. When the fluid level is low, it triggers a switch in the master cylinder and causes the light to come on.
Some times a "gentle" tap on the master cylinder reservoir will loosen the stuck float and turn the light off. One way to verify the switch is causing the issue, you can disconnect the harness connector at the master cylinder and the light should go out.
Start there and let me know.
