SOURCE: any special tools needed to
you should be able to loosen the alternator and get the belt off and then put the new one on and tighten the alternator back up. check the fuses for the cigarette lighter

You may have a short in the dash, i would have it checked by a mechanic, if it is a short it could cause a fire, so you should have it checked ASAP........

Check for coins or other metal objects that may be shorting out the cigarette lighter. Shorts would usually fry the fuse.

hi to remove the lighter ease of the crome retaining ring around the lighters edge you may have to use a flat ended screwdriver one off you lighterand connection will come out

According to Toyota manual you must use a genuine Toyota cigarette lighter part as sizes and tolerances are critical.
Wrong part can blow fuse or inpair correct operation.
