It sounds a lot like you have a Brake Sensor that is Broken. You know when you want to start and Get into gear and you need to push the Brake for this to Happen? The Same goes for the Reverse. If this car is still under Warranty, Make the Dealer Fix this Problem for you. That is what the Warranty is For.

My ignition swithch wont turn to off position. It did several times now it will not.

take it to your local mechanic and he will most likely change the key socket its a sepparate part this should come with a new set of keys or the pins on the lock can be made to fit your old key its frequent when cars get old. A similar problem is that the key can be removed when the car is still running.

Key stuck ignition wont

This usually happens if your steering wheel is in the rightmost or the leftmost position. Try wiggling the steering wheel when pulling out the key.

I have a 2005 suzuki ferenza and wont come out of park and cant get key to go to lock position so cant get key out but i can if i unhook the battery?

This happened to me numerous times... there is a little spot by the shifter - it says "shift lock" something like that.... Push a key or something that fits in that hole and it will release. I had to drive around with a mini screwdriver forever and "unlock" that each time and one day it just stopped locking. The key also gets stuck and wont turn when the steering wheel is in the wrong position... (??) turn it back and forth as much as you can - that sometimes releases it as well.

The button on the shifter is stuck and key wont turn or come out. Button on shifter wont release so the key is stuck in the first position like if you wanted to turn on just the radio

okay there is a compartment under your steering column open and look directly under your ignition youll see a release button, that will get your key out, take the car to chevy and have them check it out, this will happen continuously if you dont and it can evolve into many other problems according to many other car forums, hope this helps

2005 Monte Carlo wont start after i changed the igition

If its the ignition switch that you changed you need to leave the key in the ignition switch in the on position for about fifteen minutes, it should start after that if not keep repeating until it does.

The key want turn to start the car

exactly! The cylinder lock gets activated when the key is turned back for removal it releases a pin which will actually lock the steering wheel. Exactly opposite when inserted, First it has to release the steering lock otherwise the key simply wont turn. So it must have got stuck in lock position . Try jostling the wheel and rotate the key towards ignition position. If you hear a small click, that's the release of that pin and the wheel becomes free and the key can also be turned. This assembly must have got jammed or broken altogether and you might have to change the entire keylock..........sodeep
