2003 ford focus headlight plug burned out

this sounds like the wires in the plug have shorted together at times and overheated the plug.or the wiring near the plug touched and overheated, look at the wiring from the plug back a ways and see if it looks like it has gotten hot or signs of melting, you may need to repair the wires when the plug is replaced.check the headlight bulb as well for signs of getting hot at the base of the bulb or just replace the bulb.

Car overheating we changed the thrermostat still the same

Check your overflow bottle for any signs of exhaust fumes, the coolant for any signs of oil contamination and the oil for any signs of an emulsion forming. Overheating is often a sign of a blown headgasket with a leak between one (or more) of the cylinders and the coolant passage in the head and block. If ignored, when the oil looses too much of its lubricating value due to water mixed with it, the engine can seize up and then it gets very expensive.
If you want to embark on doing your own maintenance, I highly recommend you invest $20 US in a Haynes manual for your car which will contain all of the info you need on things you can do at home.

I have 1998 740i BMW that is overheating. 1) What are the warning signs of a bad water pump? 2) What are the warning signs of a blown head gasket? 3) What are the warning signs of bad timing?

Timing - engine is not sounding right or back firing.
Head gasket - water and oil mixing, see inside water bottle. or open bottle. rev engine when cold, if starts spitting water out while cold like a fountain.
Water pump - Water leaking from side of engine. or when car started and water bottle is open and no circulation is visible could be signs of water pump
Remember - Block radiator lines can also cause over heating problems and lack of water circulation.

1987 Dooge Ram 2.6 Overheating -- tried replacing

One note- many thermostat elements can be installed backwards and while they will function, they don't allow full flow of the coolant like that.
Dunno what the bolt might be for-
Another possibility is a blown head gasket; if these fail between any combustion chamber and a coolant path, it will heat the devil out of coolant and generally cause exhaust fumes in bubbles in the cooling system. You can check for signs of rust on your plugs since the cooling engine will **** in coolant and that will leave deposits. Also check your coolant for any signs of a milkiness and your oil for signs it is turning into hand-lotion.

Why is my 1999 mitsubishi galant V4 overheating??

Both white smoke coming from the tailpipe and the engine temperature overheating are signs the cylinder head gasket is blown. You should have a block test performed to verify.
