There is probably something wrong with the light socket or you need to check if the light socket is getting power.

SOURCE: Dashboard and tail lights out on 97" Nissan Sentra

I took my pathfinder to U-HAUL and asked them to check the towing lights. There was a pinched wire by my tail light and they cut it and changed it out for me, it was $5. I am so glad that I didnt take it to Nissan. My second step was going to be getting a new dimmer switch..but the guy who worked on my car said that wouldnt be the problem. He also told me that replacing a fuse that kept blowing out was dangerous and after the first time to get it checked out. Learn something new every day!!

SOURCE: Non working brake lights in Nissan Altima

make sure the button is working, it may need to be replaced. with your foot off the brake peddle, it is on upper part of brake peddle arm. when you let off brake peddle it pushes button in to shut lights off. it may just be stuck in, spray a little lubracant on it if it's stuck and push in manually several times to loosen.

SOURCE: low beams on head lights not working

Hi,

I had this problem.
In Canada all cars come with daytime running lights- (DRL) My 2004 Kia Sedona had this problem and it was the DRL Module.

Serach internet to find it's location. ( I think it is under the centre console, but dealer changed under warranty)

It should not be hard to find and change - It is usually just a small plastic box... plus or minus the size of a fist.

I don't know if DRL is required in the USA but it may be standard on Kias

Only one head lamp is working

I have the same problem. Are the tabs holding the bulb in the socket broken? Splice in a used socket from a junked vehicle, or use some Gorrilla (R) tape to hold it more firmly in the socket. It is stickier than duct tape.

How do you change the light on a 2007 nissan sentras gear shift??

This is for a 2007 Sentra with an automatic trans. Everything I've read says the dealer will charge about $150. Once I figured out the panels it took $5 and about 15 minutes to change.

There are two panels (one on the drivers side close to the floorboard and one on the passenger) that you can pull off by hand.

Under those panels are the hooks that hold the panel with the 12 volt plug on. Unhook it from the main dash panel and take out the star head screws half way back on the panel. There are two one on the driver and passenger.

You have to work the 12 volt panel out to the driver side but you don't have to disconnect it.

Now on the panel that has the hazard light button (not the silver piece that has the gear positions) stick a screwdriver under the panel on the passenger side and pop it off. It shouldn't take a whole lot of pressure.

Pull the panel up as high as you can and you'll see a red wire on the driver side. That wire connects to the burnt lights' socket.

You probably won't be able to get to it because of the tension on that wire so trace it to floorboard where you took the panels off and disconnect it. You can pull that zip tie that holds it to the console out and you'll have plenty of room to get to it then.

The bulb is a 194LL Sylvania.

Hope this helps.

How do i replace the passenger side head lamp for a 2007 Maxima

Under the hood, find the back of the headlamp assembly. Unplug the wiring from the bulb. It should twist out or have a retainer ring that unscrews. Once you have this off, the bulb will slide out. Replace by reversing the steps.

How to access brake tail light to change

Tail light replacement is not as hard as it seems.
Tools needed:flat head screwdriver and a deep 5/32 socket(a pair of pliers will work).
Step 1: open trunk and pull back truck liner at tail light. There is a small button clip on liner.Use screwdriver to pop up the center of button clip, pull clip out of hole.
Step 2:You will see a black wire attached to the body of car with 2 white clips.Use screwdriver to pop clips off of studs.
Step 3:Remove the nuts from the studs and pull tail light assembly straight back away from car.The outer side of the light just snaps in and out of place.
Step 4:Turn light socket counter clockwise 1/3 turn and pull out.
Step 5:Pull bad bulb straight out and replace.Reverse steps to reassemble.
