Go recheck for loose connections at both ends (the radio-harness and the speaker).

Why can't I get any sound out of my radio?

A short in the wiring will result in no sound no matter how many radios and amplifiers are installed.

hey, that sounds like wiring for sure, if your cd player is working fine and its just your speakers? then yes that would be a wiring problem, theres a bad wire somewhere in the system. either find out yourself where the bad wire is or bring it to someone who know how to repair those types of problems. good luck!

No sound from RF & RR speakers

run new wire to the speakers is what i would do but u have to do it to all due to there possibly being a pre amp in the vehicle.

Dodge radio starts then shuts off

Hi Davis,

I had the same problem with Dodge Grand Caravan as well. I have a 2001 GCV and these radios go out all the time, plus each speaker has separate amps which some speaker will stop working. You will need a new stereo, however the dealership will charge you over $350 for the same replacement. I chose to go to BestBuy and buy a new Stereo for around $100 which has iPod connections which is a plus.
Next problem!!! Since each speaker has its own amp, in order to get the new stereo to work, I had to install a relay by tapping into the passenger side kicker panel master amp power supply to bypass the chip. Best Buy guy will know what to do. I suggest install the stereo yourself with a kit and go back to install an amp bypass relay switch. Hope that helps.

Stock Stereos **** and Dodge make is difficult to go aftermarket.....Good Luck

Radio Problem

did you splice a higher wattage subwoofer in the line without a amp and proper wireing if so you can burn the internal amp on the radio thus causing a pair of speakers not to work

The stock radio? Or is it something someone put in there?
I would pull the radio out and check to make sure the harness is fully engaged in the back of the radio.

Well, some how, the wiring for the front speakers didn't get hooked up or hooked up improperly. I assume it is a new cd player? If not, maybe it's the player itself.

2002 Ram Radio problem

It sounds like a cold soldered joint internally in the radio. My advice is to buy a nice aftermarket radio with an MP3 CD player. MP3 gives you the option to burn music from your computer. In addition, MP3 CDs will hold over 100 songs per CD.
It MIGHT be a poor connection at the power connector on the rear of the radio. You could try pulling out the radio and cleaning the connection before purchasing a new radio.
