Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY IN 2000 LINCOLN TOWNCAR

Open the hood and make sure the car and the lights are off.
Remove the plastic protective cover. There are 3 knobs, turn halfway and pull.Put aside and out of the way.
Remove the three pins that are holding the light assembly in place. These are flat rods with a little bend at the end.
Twist and un-plug the lights, now you can remove the whole lens.
The light bulbs can also be removed and replaced from this point.
Make sure all the bulbs are working before you put it back together.

SOURCE: my 2000 lincoln towncar heater blower motor only

This could be bad electrical connection at the motor, bad bearings or bad motor armature. Tapping the motor with a rubber mallet will sometimes get the motor started. I've used the mallet for two different motors and it works until the motor finally goes bad.

SOURCE: Blower fan not working for heat and AC

This sounds like a BSC blower speed controller. it is located outside on the a/c case just below the heater hoses. to diagnose just wiggle the connector with the key on engine off, you should hear the fan come on, then replace it.

Fuse #12 for 2000 lincoln towncar keeps blowing

fuses are a safety device. they are made to blower when to much load is drawn over them. some component on the circuit is shorting out. if possible unplug all the items on that circuit. put in a new fuse, then reconnect component one at a time until the fuse blows again. a process of elimantion. it may take some time, but it will be expensive to take it to a dealership.

This problem is caused by the brake light switch being either defective or more likely the wires at the switch are broken, the switch is on the pedal arm under the dash.
