Hello!
The only way without removing the radio and paying for code search is to go to your Merc dealership with the Log Book/Title proof ownership/identification they will be glad to give you the required code.
Good Luck!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

After replacing entire fusebox in a 1995 Toyota Avalon will I need to restart anything due to the battery not being connected

You can turn the ignition on. You may find that

- the radio will ask for a PIN entry
- the airbags willl need resetting (advise if you cannot read this procedure)

Anything special to do when changing the battery in a 2005 toyota avalon

the only problem you might have is you will lose all of your pre-set radio stations, if your radio has a security code it will not work until it is recoded, if it is coded there will be a red light blinking when the ignition is removed,if there is no light blinking it may not be coded, but it is best to connect another battery to your battery terminals before you remove them....hope this helps....cheers

if the first owner was kind they would have made a note of the code in the service book.if not, the unit will have to be recoded/replaced not a diy thing.honda only keep records if they service from new, continually .....

Mercedes radio unlock code

all you have to do is to call the parts department at your nearest mercedes benz dealer and give them the vin number of your car and the serial number on the radio and they will give you the code, some dealers may ask you to bring the car to them but they will charge you, that is good to do if you don't know how to remove the radio of the car which i believe in that model is by inserting four pins in the holes that the radio has at each corner and the radio pulls out easy. You can buy this keys that are u shaped at any autoparts in the car stereo section and should cost you no more than $5.00 dollars they are supposed to be for Ford cars but they work for Mercedes Benz as well. The dealer should give you the code for free and they will tell you how to enter it on the radio so that is the best inexpensive way to fix it so good luck with your car and please let me know how it went.
