I changed the battery in my 1995 merceds sl320 but i did not know anything about recoding. how do i get the code and what is the procedure to reactivate the radio? thanks
please respond to demil99@cox.net
i changed the battery, i need the code to my radio, i dont have the manual,i bought my mercedes from the united states, now i'm in Lebanon! so i can't reach the dealer!!
I've got a 1996 E 320. I had to unhook the battery, and now I don't have the code to unlock the radio. Also, now whenever I start my car, the car phone sounds. I'd also like to know how to disable that.
Hello!
The only way without removing the radio and paying for code search is to go to your Merc dealership with the Log Book/Title proof ownership/identification they will be glad to give you the required code.
Good Luck!

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!
