on top of brake pedal there should be a switch. wire going on it, diconect plug turn and remove switch fit new one and reconnect plug

Sounds like you may have a voltage regulator problem. Have the alternator voltage regulator checked out for correct voltage and charging.

The brake lights switch is fitted next to steering column under a dashboard.There is plastic cover-just follow the brake pedal and you will see the switch.Disconect the plug and turn the switch anticlock wise.
