Check the Fuel injection system (injectors) and the intake manifold. It might also be wise to check the alternator as well as the starter coil and also the electronic distributor

Can you tell me the firing order for the car

Here are the two firing order diagrams for that vehicle, and the vehicle either has a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine or a 2.5 liter 6 cylinder engine.

1995 Mazda 626 -what is the firing order on a 2,5lt engine? I have # one turned to the top and the timing mark on the crank is right on but the rotor is on #6 plug. Doesn't make sense to me. When I turn it...

I read that the firing order was '1,2,3,4,5,6' which is easy to remember: prev.gif next.gif FIRING ORDERS NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement. If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your book to reflect how your engine is wired. My car will turn over but not start how do i find the firing order

If it was running before firing order shouldnt be an issue, more of a tune up issue, say if a coil failed or some other ignition or fuel delivery system part failed.

Timing my 1998mazda 626 6cyl having problems all day...What do i do?

Hi,
Questions...
Is it trying to fire?
Are you getting fire to the plugs? If so,
double check the firing order, 1,2,3,4,5,6
Make sure wires aren't in wrong places.
Did you replace timing belt? If so, recheck timing mark locations. Are you getting fuel to the cylinders?
Anything else about the engine a person should know for consideration?
I know... mundane questions... but motor 101 "if you're getting fire and gas, something out to happen".
Hope it helped a little... Good luck!

Spark plug firing order

check the ignition coil power source...get a test light & check for power with the key on @ the positive side of the coil...if it does have power have a friend crank the engine over & check the negative side for a flashing light..if it does then make sure you have spark @ the coil if not replace the coil

Cylinder order

The firing order on all four cylinder engines is 1.3.4.2. and number one cylinder is at the opposite end of the engine to the gearbox, at the end with the belts and pulleys.
