I am having the same problem on my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. My panel was solely clips, with no screws. Start by prying up near the lock with your fingers. Work your way slowly around the panel, popping one clip at a time.

If you go counter-clockwise from the lock, you will have it fairly loose when you get to the back end. The top trim clips go 90 degrees toward the back of the van, while the door panel clips go in toward the outside.

I am a little late to the party...did you get your lock fixed? I am looking to see if there is a way to fix this without replacing the entire lock/latch on the sliding door...any advice?

Forgot to mention that you have to pop off the door bumper cover first. It is pretty easy, as it is just snapped on with plastic tabs. There are no clips or tricks. Just pry it off with your fingers...

The panel comes off very much the same as a regular door panel. Start by removing all the screws that are visible look under the latches the small panel rest etc. Once this is done it will loosen somewhat and then there are clips that are hidden somewhat under the edges of the panel. Take you time and take notice of all to reassemble. Tip: Chilton Repair manuals are worth taking a look at when you go by a parts house - Checkers etc One of these manuals are around 15 bucks and have diagrams tip tricks etc that are Worth having around. Hope this helps.

Power door lock on driver side has stop working

The problem is most likely the switch/plunger .
You will need to take off the door panel and look inside, with an electrical tester, and see what has failed.
The switch/plungers are quite cheaply made, and fail often.
God bless your efforts.

How do I fix the Left side Sliding Door on my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan?

have the hinges dropped or a catch remained locked in placem sounds like it. The door should be removed for inspection and diagnosis repair, somebody who repairs such vehicles would probably be the place to sort it out.
If your mechanical/electrical skills are upto par you might do it yourself....sounds like a mechanical issue really

good luck

Why won't the driver side manual slider door open?

The rod from the handles to the lock mechanism could have come off or become bent to the point that it won't work the latch anymore. The prior problems were probably just symptoms of the problem you have now. Will have to take the door panel off and manually trip the latch.

Passenger side sliding power lock will not work, stopping suddenly. all other power locks working perfectly. any suggestions?

Probably a broken wire going into the door--check & repair--or electric plunger lock is worn out or disconnected--check for power at electric lock--if power--replace .

2007 dodge caravan door locks constantly unlocking when driving or parked but only happens intermitently.

Of course this is an electrical malfunction.

Can you please run a scan on this vehicle?

There are likelihood that the gear is loosing it's position. When the gear is set to P-Park the doors open and when set to D-Drive the doors automatically locks up.

Thank you.

Sliding door lock

If you check the doorlock actuator it is more than likely bad. On my caravan I had to replace actuators on both sliders. Cannot get correct actuators at autoparts stores. Either go to a salvage yard or to the dealer to get them.
