Noise

When you start the engine the clutch shaft into the gear box is spinning with the engine crankshaft. When you depress the clutch the noise stops because the input shaft is not turning. It points to a failing bearing on the clutch input shaft and if that proves to be the case then the box has to come out and be pulled down for the bearing to be replaced.

Starter engages slightly on my 2002 acura rsx but wont start car. battery is fully charged

Get a long shank screw driver and place it on the starter. While a friend attempts to start the car, tap the handle of the screw driver with a ball pin hammer. Sounds like the pin is catching upon deployment. Eventually your going to need to replace the solenoid and the starter.

Push start does not start sometimes

Its probably the brake switch. When the brake pedal is depressed there is an electrical switch that is tripped and it tell the car that the brakes are engaged and safe to start, shift into gears, etc. Mine went out on my 2008 Altima and was a fast 50 dollar fix at the dealership. Its worth it to just pay the dealership rather than try give yourself a headache trying to figure out how to replace it yourself.

I was driving down the road and it just died and now it will not start

Check fuel pump fuse and then fuel pump relay if both are ok the fuel pump is bad. Make sure you check the power wire to the fuel pump for proper volts before you replace the pump.

Upon starting 99 ram 1500 it starts to idle down and almost die but once i give it gas its fine for a while what to do?

Have someone check the idle air control valve. When you are idling the intake air takes a different path into the motor than it does when you depress the accelerator. A hunting / erratic idle is a good indicator of a faulty IAC. Sometimes you can clean them but best to replace.

Try replacing Co2 sensor, most people don't realized that unit need replacing every 50-75k miles also. if that does not work, take it to the dealer and have them plug it into the computer, that will allow for them to narrow it down. with service engine light on, it will effect some of your gas mileage and the performances. The dealer charge somewhere around 50 bucks to diagnose using their computer, however 50 bucks will appilied toward the repair bill if they do the work.

I have a 97 MKVIII with a mal-functioning  air suspension system. Parked on level ground the front end suspension depresses overnite. and upon starting it comes back up in the morning. It sometimes will...

leaks can be difficult to find in these systems. They could be in the air springs themselves, the air lines etc... not to mention you could have a ride height sensor that is malfunctioning or the control module. A lot of people are converting these old cars from the air ride suspension system to a standard passive coil spring conversion. A high quality, powder coated, American steel coil spring is DESIGNED to last the LIFETIME of the vehicle. http://www.strutmasters.com offers conversion kits with a lifetime warranty so youwon't have to worry about your suspension again. Give them a shot.. it definately beats the dealer price of around $1200 to fix your air ride.

Changing emergency flasher switch

Disconnect the battery for 1 hour before you start and the air bag will be safe, be very careful when removing it, they are still an explosive device.
