SOURCE: replace headlight bulb

Actually there are two little black tabs on top of each headlight housing and you simply have to pull them up to release the whole headlamp.

Then follow the rest of emissionwiz's solution.

A possable culprit may be your High / Low or dimmer switch. All the power to your lights are controled through that switch.

SOURCE: i have a 2007 pontiac

Good Evening, I have an odd question because I have seen this once before........ Have you checked the low beams themselves, like take out the bulb and look at the filament? The other thing would be to check for power to the plug in when you unplug the bulb get a test light and hook one end to (-) and the light one to the wire if it doesn't light try the other wire. If it lights do the reverse and hook one end to (+) and then the light end to the other wire you didn't test and see if it lights up. If it lights up on both wires your bulb is bad. I have seen headlamp switches go bad and headlamp assemblies as well. However by far I would check for power out at the bulb plug in and check the bulbs. Hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

2007 pontiac grand prix headlights are not working correctly. High beams work but not low beam. nothing works on automatic. Low beam bulbs have been replaced. Lights worked for one day, then back to not...

I drive a 07 Grand Prix and the low beams randomly went out. Could not get them to come back on, but all of the other lights worked (inside, parking, and high beams). found a forum online that recommended replacing the fuse/thing at location #35 in the fuse box under the hood. It worked immediately!! Got the part at Advanced Auto parts for $35 dollars.

I have a 2007 grand prix. The lowbeams work but

check the switch it self in the steering column mabe faulty and will need replacing. the high beam switch tend to go bad over time, some has better luck than others, it fairly easy to replace. the switch unit itself operate like a two way switch, one for flashing and other high beam.
