SOURCE: 2002 santa fe can't release fuel door/cover

There should be an adjustment point on this cable at either end. Adjust to make the cable shorter and this should solve your problem.

You may have too much fuel and wet plugs; try starting after having pushed the accelerator completely to the floor and leaving it there while cranking, don't pump it. This will allow a lot of air to enter the engine and help dry the plugs.

First off, as soon as your ignition key is turned to on, your fuel pump is activated for 5 seconds. Once it's running, it will have constant power to the fuse. Now, remember that all power in a Volkswagen goes through the ignition switch first. Use a test light and check for power at relay coming from ignition switch. You can also add power to the fuse and see if the relay clicks and the pump is on. You should hear a buzz from the pump. That will isolate the pump from the ignition switch. Ignition switches in these cars are made with plastic housings and metal contacts. Contacts tend to melt in these, hence the fuel pump will not come on. Weak part of Volkswagen has always been the electrical.

SEAT Ibiza glow plugs heating warning light - your SEAT Ibiza is equipped with an automatic glow plug system. The indicator lamp lights up while the glow plugs are preheating. If the engine fails to start immediately, the glow plugs have not finished preheating. In this case, keep the clutch pedal depressed (or keep your foot on the brake if your vehicle has an automatic gearbox) until the engine starts. (applies to diesel cars only)

Seat Ibiza 2006 car keeps cutting out whilst driving what is the cause of this

Could be so many things need more info. When it cuts out, does it act as if it's running out of fuel-- sputtering, or just dead on/off? If the latter, I would suspect bad ignition module, coil, crank/cam sensor. If the former, could be fuel pump, relay, filter. These intermittent problems can be tricky.

lost track of R reg on uk plates remember having a E plate and it was a 1967 ford zodiac but if this is one of the newer models then firstly check the connection socket in the back of the unit if it appears ok then its dealer only ,you could have faulty earth to the unit or another problem and as this vehicle if its a newer model then its using encrypted software which is dealer only type job
