I have a 1997 dakota 318 5.2 V8 Just changed fuel pump. I have good fuel all the way to the fuel rail. Truck started and ran well for day n a half. Now just cranks over sounding like no fuel. Fuel flow is still great so fuel pump is still working. Any ideas

What is the gear ratio on a 1991 dodge dakota 4x2. V8 319

The standard gear ratio for a '91 Dakota with the 318 V-8 was the 3.55 ring and pinon. The 3.90 or the 3.21, or the 2.76 could be ordered as an option. However the most of the Dakotas, either the V-6 or the V-8 were ordered with the 3.55 non-locking rear axles. Also your truck may have had either the 7.25" rear end, having a differential cover that is shaped ( 8 sides) like a "stop sign". Most likely will have the 8.25" rear end, having a "more rounded" differential cover. With your truck being a 318 V-8 the 8.25" rear end was more common. Hope that helps.

Starting issue with a 1991 dodge dakota with a 318 v8. I have replaced spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, and now the coil pack after I had the truck stall out and would not start 3 weeks ago. Now...

You may have a bad engine ground to the frame. Check & clean any ground wire connections. Also there may be a ballast resistor mounted on the firewall &/Or the starter that has cracked. This will only allow the truck to start in dry conditions. Make sure your red starter cable is not frayed & in good condition & clean the connections at the battery & starter. Hope this helps. Good luck!

What is the torque for the 318 V8 in the 98 Dakota?

I would assume that you are talking about the 5.2 litre V8 that puts out 230hp, so that would make it around 280 ft lbs.
