SOURCE: i put a new ingntion in my truck and set the theft

Does the anti theft light go on ?? Cranks but wont start right? If so you need to go to the dealer because your vehicle has a chip in the key. It cannot be programmed locally. If you go to a real good locksmith he might have the tooling to do it. Good luck it normally runs around 1 to 200 bucks! Sorry for the bad news!

SOURCE: I have an 01 ford f150 i just put a new computer

the theft light is flashing because the ' new ' truck computer does not identify with the key chip.
if you have two keys to the truck you can try one thing --- put one of the keys on the passenger seat ( this keeps the chip away from the ignition ),, put one key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position and wait about 15 seconds,,, turn back to the OFF position and remove the key -- now take the other key and put that into the ignition and turn to ON position and wait 15 seconds,, back to OFF and remove the key,, now place the first key that you started with into the ignition and turn to the ON position and wait and see if the theft light goes out,, if it does not go out - try and put the other key back into the ignition and see if does. IF it does not work then you will need to call a automotive locksmith that has the ford programer and they can come out and re-program your keys to the new computer ( but you have to have two keys to do this ) -- so if you only have one you will need to buy a new program key from the locksmith ( this is not cheap,, but it is necessary to program the trucks keys to the computer --- and it is a lot cheaper to have a locksmith come out to you then to have the truck towed to the dealer and then pay their price for the keys and programing --- the locksmith will charge you 75 to 80 dollars,,,,, the dealer will charge you 150 to 250 dollars ).
$75 dollars is what we charge at the lockshop that I work at in Alaska and it is a fair price.
have a great day,

My 2003 ford f150 won't start. theft light is flashing

Have you replaced a key recently? Or a remote?
Sounds like it was (replaced) and has not been coded correctly.
You will have to contact an authorized Ford Dealer about this.

2003 f150 turns over but wont crank, also theft light blinking fast

Usually means the sensor in the lock cylinder is not reading the code in the key.
If the pass key system does not get the right signal from the key the truck will not start.
You might try taking the key off your ring - put it in the lock and turn the switch on - but don't crank it for at least a minute.
There are procedures to reset the anti-theft online - - if you do a search for resetting anti-theft F150 you can read them.

Turn ignition key and motor starts up, next day turn ignition key and motor just turns over and wont start. could it be anti theft problem its a 2002 f150 4 wheel drive with 4.6 liter

This could be caused by either a faulty Crank Shaft Position Sensor or the anti-theft system. Try put key in, turn to ON position for EXACTLY 10 minutes, As SOON as anti-theft light shuts off or stops flashing, then IMMEDIATELY start the engine.
