Omh is actually ohms whis is the measurement of resistance in an electrial circuit, with a multimeter you would set it to the ohms side of the dial and put the leads (one on each side) to the connections of each side of the coil, then you should get a resistance or ohms reading. you will need to consult ford to establish the maximum amount of resistance allowance per each coil, if it is too high it will need to be replaced!! hope this helped!!

WHRE DOES THE GEELY EMEGRANTNR7 2013 SPARG PLUS ARE FOUNDED IN THE ENJIN

It has pencil coils on top of the engine. Remove the coils and you'll find the spark plug underneath it. If your car has been misfiring, it is more likely to be a coil than a spark plug. It is best to replace all 4 coils at the same time as they normally go one within a short space of the other

Have a 2000 Durango with the 4.7. Engine runs but 1&2 won't fire. Have replaced coils and plugs in both, injectors are good, at a loss here.

You need to run a compression test on the suspected cylinders to verify they are working compression wise. Should have 120-150psi depending on mileage.

No current in wiring plug going to the coil / no broke wires 04 escape 3.0L

Follow your coil wires back to the connectors for the ECM the wire could be corroded from cutting insulation to check previously or the coils connector check for continuity of the wires all the way back to the ecm

Buddy has a 2004 hyundai accent, 1.6l I replaced coils about a month ago, and they have blown again, anyone run into a problem like this Hate to keep replacing coils any idea of what cause's coils to keep...

Verify that the plugs are gapped properly & be sure to clean the area they install in & by all means use di-electric grease on the top of the plug & bottom of the coils. Unfortunately, coils can accept the spark back into themselves causing arcing & such just as easily as they can send a spark through the insulator of the spark plug , if that path is easier.
Di-electric grease has been recommended for High energy ignitions since the mid '80s as it does aid in keeping the spark channeled through the plug. Also, check your ground strap from the firewall to the engine & be sure it is a good connection on both ends. Good luck.

Only firing on 2 coils have swapped them over and the same thing so its not the coils any ideas thanks

If coil has been changed, then either the module or crank sensor. Most likely module. You probably won't have any spark at all if sensor was bad.

Cheverlet K1500 no spark

two more things related to spark one is the ignition module, two the distributor pickup assmbly, and last but not theh least check and make sure the distributor rotor is not burned up

check the pick up coi for continuity, using an omh meter you can use theh omh meter to test the distributor rotor also if they test out ok then replace the ignition module.
