I dont know what all you can clean and dismantle other than cleaning the fuse panel box with a wire would need to take the pos battery cable off to do that but other than that im not sure what else you can do with it doing what its doing.

Have your engine checked. The only way to know exactly why an angine light is on is to have your vehicle diagnosed with a diagnostics computer. Any mechanic should have one handy. It will give them the error code assigned to the specific problem, and they will be able to tell you what needs to be fixed.

Mercury Mountaineer 2000 clicks while trying to start, turns over good with jump box but still wont start?

This engine is computer controlled, so when it stalled out the computer will almost always set fault code(s) for the problem if it is a component like a crank sensor or other device, if the engine failed in some strictly mechanical way then no code or codes may be present. You need to have the system scanned (diagnostic connector under the dash drivers side) for fault codes as a first step toward repair.

Took car for diagnostic testing because engine light came on. Autozone said that it may be the cylinders backfiring. Took it to a mechanic he said that it may be a false indication so he reset the light...

i would rather take the mechanics advice , sometimes it does happen that a fault pops up , take it to the mechanic in a week or two to retest . just to be sure

I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima GLE, I Failed the Emission Inspection (DTC) Diagnostic Trouble Codes of "P1492","P1105" What these Codes exactly? mean

A code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty spark plugs or wires
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
  • Faulty fuel injector(s)
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Faulty catalytic converter(s)
  • Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
  • Faulty camshaft position sensor
  • Defective compute
  • P1105MAP/BARO Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve
  • Check and clean the MAP sensor, or replace.
  • P1492EVAP Canister Purge Control/Solenoid Valve (Circuit)
  • Replacing the purge solenoid will clear code P1492 This should also clear code P0300 as well.

How precise are diagnostic machines, because i had toomany faults, which is a bit incredible.

Diagnostic tools will only give a mechanic a place to start looking for a problem> If you have multiple diagnostic codes, the codes should be cleared from memory and vehicle driven to see which codes return. Diagnostic tools cannot tell the tech exactly what is wrong with a vehicle, it just gives him a place to start looking for a problem. Interpritation of the diagnostic codes is due to the expertese of technition

Transmission problem in Accent (Hyundai)

Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' (Service Engine Soon) light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on.
You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE the problem and perhaps eventually fix the problem.
Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.Go to and register( Vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you have access to shop manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. about your vehicle.

Cheak engine

Don't understand your question. Do you mean CHECK ENGINE LIGHT? If so, then there's one or more DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECU (Engine Contro Unit). You'll need an OBDII (OBD = Onboard Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any trouble codes. Find one (can be purchased at AutoZone, CarQuest, PEP Boys, O'Riley's, etc.) Let me know what codes are stored/set in the ECU. If you don't wish to do this, then take the veh to a Hyundai Service Center and pay their diagnostic fee. They'll give you an estimate of repairs (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.). This way you'll know EXACTLY what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

I have the sign of check engine could you tell me what is it mean or where is the problem it can be

This light could Mean Anything from the Rear End to the Tranny to Anything Inside and around the Motor. The best way to find out is #1 Check all the Fluids, Oil, Coolant, ETC. #2 is to have a Qualified Mechanic Run a Diagnostics on the Computer to see Exactly Where the Trouble code is Coming From.

Dear sir, have promb with mistubish canter fe/2001.when u push feul to start reving high,it self.please assit.thanks.Mr Yusuf.

You will need professional help here, with engine diagnostic equipment, there are no simple DIY (do it yourself)fixes. Sounds like a fuel limiter problem, that can be electricl or mechanical or both. On the fuel system though the OBD (ON Board Diagnostics) system should narrow down the problem to a single code or group of codes to indicate what the exact problem could be.
