Question about 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer

1 Answer

About that 04 TrailBlaizer...

Thank You for your response!
Not sure what or where or what the "Processor"is, and also REALLY hoping the computer is NOT Fried! ...Money isMoney, and I haven't found ANY "Valid" Give-a-Ways for that yet!(Broke!)
I've Already spent over $300.00 just doing whatever I Could figure-out how to do, and getting my fluid "Flushed"!
One Website mentioned something about a "Modulator" or "Sensor" goingbad Being a COMMON-PROBLEM with this Year & Make, and re-assuredthat as long as the FLUID has Remained "Between-the-Lines", There wasmost-likely Little, or NO Transmission Damage!
...That would be NICE!
Please tell Me, How Can I Find a Free Online Diagram of these "Sensors", the Fusebox, or a simple Fix-It Manual?

no such diagram exists, only bits and peices of fixes and seperate issues, u will need to go on ebay and buy a used factory service manual if u are ever going to fix it right the 1st time as we say at the dealer.

You sure that's not P0128? P0128 is the coolant temperature is too cool. Thermostat is stuck open. Replace thermostat and you're all good to go.

I recently replaced the battery in my 04' chevy trailblaizer. Now my air conditioning, and heater will not turn on unless you turn it to 5

When you turn it to 5 with the A/C ON, does your your TB want to stall? If not, replace the blower motor resister behind the glove box.

04 6. sometimes i have no throttle response accompanied with popping back through air intake and lots of black smoke out of the exhaust

I WOULD SAY TAKE IT AND HAVE IT HOOKED TO A DIOGNOSTIC SCANNER TO PIPOINT WHAT IT IS FOR SURE, IF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON ESPECIALLY, BUT IT IS HARD TO GIVE AN ANSWER WITHOUT KNOWING IF IT IS A GAS OR DIESEL,I WASN'T SURE IF THE 04 6. AT THE TOP WAS MEANING IT WAS A 4.6 LITRE GAS ENGINE,OR IF IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE.

Service stability system message came on today-what does this mean? Is car safe to drive? cost to fix?,04 Deville DeVonia

I can only speak from experience and hope that you'll agree when I say that a "check engine light, an ABS light and the check stability service light all come on at various times due to events as sutle as a pothole or a sharp turn. These systems being independent of each other have their own computers which store codes. These codes often mean nothing, now, what IS important is if you feel a sudden change in the day to day operation of your vehicle. If not, I would, when given the time, take your vehicle to a proper dealership and have it checked and the codes cleared. Thank you, Dana

Fan not working

could be a bad fan motor or a bad switch or a loose connection. The only way to pin point the problem is to troubleshoot the circuit with a multimeter

Where is the water pump located on a 2005 trailblaizer

It's usually the lower radiator hose which goes to the pump, so trace the lower radiator hose. The link will give you some good info on the water pump removal.
Hope this helps.

How to change the back wheel bearings on my 04 toyota 4runner

Pulling the axle is relatively easy. The problem you are going to have is replacing the bad bearings. They are pressed onto the axle shaft, and, if you do not have a large press and the necessary special tools to use the press properly, you are simply not going to be able to do this job yourself. I know that this is not what you want to hear, but, I do this job quite often, and I know very well the level of difficulty. I can give you the directions, but the pressing is the main issue that will hinder you. You are also going to need to replace the brake shoes after the axle is repaired.
