If there are only partial images and some are blank, the unit itself is failing and requires replacement. There is no "fix" for this kind of display using LCDs. Try Silverstar recycling in CA and can be found on the internet. They carry all kinds of good stuff for Mercedes/Porsche at resonible prices and will ship.

You have to check ur idle speed controller, that is located at the back of battery protected by a plstic shield, remove the shield and remove a small controller located next to the computer compartment and check the fuse, the problem wd b solved by replacing the fuse otherwise u will have to replace the idle speed controller, if this will not fix the problem, ur computer has to be reset by company, hope this will fix the problem

Hi hope all is well. I just bought a sexy Mercedes Benz 190e, 1992. I had a car wash today and coming out, the front lights were off and there is a beeping sound coming from the left exterior lights...

U have got a short circuit at the head lamp holder, remove the back cover by lifting the clips up and down on the plastic shields at the back of head lamp and remove the lamp, dry the holder and lamp connector using a hair dryer and fix every thing back, hope this will solve the problem.
