Is it wet with gas or does it smell like coolant? If it's the latter you might need to replace the head gasket. If it's gas, did you also change the ignition coil pack?

Have you tried new Spark Plugs? Also after removing the plugs.
Take a paper towel and roll it up so it is like a long thick pencil. Stick that down the hole the spark plus came out of. Just to clean the moisture out. Also blow some compressed air down the hole.
Make sure all the moisture is out. The put the plugs in.
When you wash you car. Be careful if you wash the engine.
Dont let water get in to the plug holes..

1.4 L VW Jetta cylinder firing order??????

Here is the firing order below, but you made a grave mistake. You are subscribing to the "let's try replacing this" method of car repair which doesn't work and costs $160. What if it is two $10 spark plugs causing the misfire?

So what you do is remove the plugs from cylinders 2 and 3 and check them for condition and gap. Clean with a wire brush, gap and replace. Is the misfire still there? If it isn't, you have fixed it for free. If the misfire is still there, you take the coil from 2 and swap it with cylinder 1. Does the misfire move to 1? If it does, the coil needs changing. Swap coils 3 and 4 and do the same test.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3. Misfire on 2 cylinders?

Question edited for clarity. Full year make model in title and mis-spelling of 'misfire'.
Question moved to sub category.

The misfire code only tell you that, unfortunately it doesn't tell you why. When swapping parts to test theories, only swap one thing, one cylinder to one cylinder and only one item, the coil, the plug or the wires, not all three. What was the make of the Crankshaft Sensor? Only buy quality OEM replacements as there is a history of bad ones from Mexico and China.

Wouldn't hurt to check the wires again. This has a neat diagram.

Have a problem with misfire on one cylinder. To date have changed crank sensor, coil pack, plugs, wires, fuel injector, fuel pump, cleaned maf sensor. HELP!! Pulled plug...it's black and wet.

You did everything you can when its wet and you replaced plugs coil injectors. You are dealing with a low compression or head gasket. Also check the coolant you could be loosing it.

2000 VW Jetta VR6 My check engine light started flashing. My car was idleing very rough and missing. The parts store checked and the code showed misfire 1. We replaced the spark plugs. It runs a little...

You may have a bad coil pack - try moving two of them around and see if the misfire follows the coil pack or stays at the same cylinder. If it follows the coil pack, get a new one. If it stays in the same cylinder, inspect your spark plug wires and make sure the plug is gapped correctly.
