Here is the definition for the code.

P2107 FORD Description The Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) control area of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) failed test. Fault code could be the result of incorrect Throttle Position (TP) command of the Throttle Actuator Control Module (TACM)

2004 lincoln ls v6 has a p2107 code how do you check the coils

you can test an ignition coil by unplugging the end that goes to the distributors/coil packs, holding it a fraction of an inch from a part of the exposed car frame, attempt to crank, and watch for a spark.

When driving 2006 LINCOLN LS the car will drop down to 20mph without warning, Why is this

Google search got this:
Ok so I looked up the codes and P2107 is for "Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor" and P2110 is for "Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM"
I think P2110 is thrown and active because there was an error with the throttle body module/part. There is a list of causes for P2107:
Possible causes
- Foulty Throttle Body
- Faulty Throttle Actuator Control Module
- Throttle Actuator Control Module harness is open or shorted
- Throttle Actuator Control Module circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
test the electrical connection on the part e to see if it's loose or corroded at all.
I'm also going to change my coil packs. Maybe if one of those are going out, the computer might throw this code too? Wouldn't think so, but maybe.
What was happening is, when I accelerated, sometimes the car would just die (well, I thought it was dying but was actually going into that forced Limited RPM mode). If I turn the car off and start it back up, all good again.
The throttle body is 422.94 OEM, so... yeah...

Codes P2107 and P2110

Forget the P2107 & P2110

They are NOT the problem & you can
study those codes for years & I have, &
they are of no value to you

Your car & my Lincoln L/S are cousins or twins

Replace ALL ---I said ALL of the COP Ignition Coils
& problem solved (they only last 6 to 7 years)

You can do that your self with a single 7mm socket

The coils are avail from Rock Auto.Com
I use the Wells Brand

Replace the spark plugs every 3 years
Use the NGK OEM plugs ONLY_ONLY

NOT any plug from a ford dealer
Those are the WRONG tip config
The NGK are off the assy line

Really bad ignition coils spike the drivers in the pcm
& you loose the tps signal or throttle plate position &
go into ETC Fail-Safe, thus can only go 6 mph until
you turn off the key & start the same thing all over, if
you make it home.

Dealers & Shops can't fix that problem (I Have)

replace the unit and it may be best as auto zone suggested having it done by a reputable accredited dealer service centre as they will have the part on hand and will fit it in the recommended labour time .

2009 Ford Fusion codes 2107,2110 car slows to 30mph and will no longer accelerate

Well, those codes definately are related to why your vehicle will no longer accelerate!

P2107 is "Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Processor"
This code means that the TAC portion of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has failed the self-test.

Posiible causes:
> TAC motor circuit harness shorted to ground
> TAC motor circuit harness shorted to voltage
> Damage Electronic Throttle Body (ETB)
> Damaged PCM

P2110 is "Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Forced Limited RPM"

This code is informational only. It sets in conjunction with other throttle actuator control codes (like P2107 above). It is just letting you know that the PCM is limiting RPM due to a TAC malfunction, (So it doesn't do a "TOYOTA" on you and run away!"

Car goes into failsafe mode; codes p2110 and p2107

Bad ignition coil, spiking the PCM,spike comes back on TPS Sensor, then to PCM again, putting the car into ETC Failsafe, and you can only go 6 MPH.

If the coils are not the issue, then the 2110 & 2107 come into play, and you spend $700,00 just for a new throttle body. The motor in it is not replaceable as of 2010,may be some day
In that case you better put it on yourself. Only (4) 10mm bolts, but you have to drain a little coolant,as it goes thru the throttle housing

Im having issues with my 03 linconl ls the check engine light stays on i can drive a few minuetes but when the wrench light comes on it doesn't want to accelerate anymore.i got 6 codes to narrow down whats...

I would start with the coils. Almost all problems seem to be from that area. Maybe buy one at car salvage and shot gun it out. I think it's worth a try. Need to start eliminating possible causes. Yes alot of codes - need to find a commom dinomatator. Good luck
