SOURCE: Crank Position Sensor

If i remember, it's located near the passenger side of the car behind the oil filter. There should be 4 screws holding it in place in a square pattern, 1 in each corner and the size is around 5mm.

Hope this helps.

Can u please give me an idea where is the crank shaft sensor really located at QR20(DE)

Last time I did it on a 97 Sebring (another chrysler product) it was on the Bell housing on the firewall side close to the engine block. Almost impossible to get any tool on it. I was told by a mechanic that the best way to remove was to use a low heat torch since it was mostly plastic.

Engine diagram for a 1998 plymouth grand voyager

I don't have a diagram at hand but the sensor it's located on the transmission so, on the driver side on the transmission and it is kind of hidden so you got to look good for it. This takes a reading off the flex plate rather than a tone or exiter ring the crank.

My 97 firebird died on a stop light. A guy told me that its the crank sensor gone bad. I need to see a pic or diagram of its location to replace it.

it's usually on the front of the engine by crank pulley, cylindrical with one wire coming off it. Points at the crank damper. Some are other places but I'm not sure on this one. Try Googling crank sensor, 97 firebird.

97 g voyager replaced controll computer crank sensor unit it started ran 10 minutes turned off will not start even now 2 days later what could it be

Do you have the check engine light on? If so, rent a scanner, read out any code(s), and pursue to repair(s). Either one of the new components has failed (again), or something new has occurred. Use the scanner to clear the light after you have repaired the problem(s).

Have a 97 ply. voyager keeps dying no fire replaced coil pack but no success. what is wrong

It sounds like a Crank Sensor to me. They often fail with a little heat and will start working again after they cool off for a while. It is common for them to mess-up and cause stalling without setting any fault codes. yours is located in the transmission bell housing.
