Car wont start after it gets warmed up

Basically it's an electrical component of the ignition system that is affected by heat. You can overlook spark plugs and wiring. It's component beyond those, like a coil, igniter etc. The auto parts store can test components for you. Don't replace part by try and error. Most stores won't accept returns on electrical parts. In diagnosis, omit those words "might as well". It will cost you $$. Best way to fix any failure is to learn how it works to learn why it 's not working anymore. That's how a professional should work. Today they use a computerized analyzer, Not brains. You can opt to visit an pro auto repair shop for them to identify the faulty component w/ their analyzer for a one hour service fee, Cool down, restart and come home to do it DIY.

Its like its missing,no power.maybe one cyl not working prop

MANY THINGS WILL CAUSE MISSING AND NO POWER LIKE FAULTY TPS SENSOR. SOUND LIKE STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER, CLOGGED FUEL INJECTORS, CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS IF YOU HAVE ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTIONS.OMIT IF YOU HAVE 2 BARREL CARBURETOR. DO A LITTLE TUNE UP.REPLACE DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR. REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES. A BAD IGNITION COIL WILL CAUSE ENGINE TO MISS.DO A COMPRESSION TEST CHECK FOR WORN CYLINDERS WILL CAUSE ENGINE MISS.

If was only techomeer would have suggested Alternator. as an option get that checked, can usually get it done free especially if you are a member of a motoring organisation.

Speedo is usually operated via a connection to your wheels so that connection may be damaged if you have 'bottomed out; your car anywhere.

Sorry cant be more helpful

TSB 07-3-4 for the 2005 Ford Escape, Deals with the intermittent hesitation or missfiring. This very missfiring happened after a 200mile drive from Seattle to Portland. The dealership did not read the TSB...

It is unlikely that RF interference will destroy a piece of electronics equipment, especially the low-level interference that is caused by incorrect spark plugs.

Technical Service Bulletins are issued by MFG's and are to be followed at the Technician's discretion, after determining that the TSB is applicable to the issue at hand.

If the TSB is, in fact, the issue, the fix would be to follow the TSB's advice, and the vehicle should operate normally again.

My dodge will not start. I think it's the fuel pump due to pouring gas in the throttle body and it attempts to start for a while and then goes back out. It did this for a while and now it will not do...

I pushed it to Advanced Auto and got some really good help with omitting the "it could be this" side of automechanics and narrowed it down to the Fuel Pump. Thanks.
