Check the Starter and starter solenoid. If you remove them, any auto parts store will bench test them for you at no charge. This is assuming you have a "good" battery and good connections. If you dont know take the Battery to be tested also. A bad Battery will make sparks and show 12 to 14 volts on a dc amp meter, but when it has a load put to it will die. Any autoparts store will have a bench test for batteries also. Good luck.

You will need to contact Chevy dealer [s] for this. Take the VIN# down and call Chevrolet they will print them out free for you.
