How often are you putting fluid In the bottle and how much fluid or have you every done it since it was new. Many times over time fluid will evaporate.
If it is a sudden lost that is something else. If a sudden lose of fluid it could be a leak in a hose, head gasket or intake gasket.

I have a 2009 Kia Sedona that blows heat on the drivers side only. What would I look for to be the problem

If you have dual range heating system (separate for driver and passenger), you have two blend doors. If you're only getting heat on the driver's side, the passenger blend door actuator is not working. It's possible this can be serviced without having to remove the entire HVAC box, but you would have to check for sure in a service manual, or a Haynes of Chilton repair manual.

Not unless you have purchased an extended warranty that covers HVAC components. The original factory warranty was for 3 years.

2009 cvevy traverse

Try system reboot, disconnect engine battery for two minutes, reconnect then turn ign. key to the 'on' position and wait two minutes before using a/c - heater controls. If it does not correct itself, driver side "blend actuator" may have failed.

2009 Traverse. Passenger-side heater only blowing cold air; driver-side blows hot air and so does rear vents. No longer under warranty.

Sounds like a mode door actuator. It's an electric motor that moves the blend doors. They have a high failure rate.

Air blowing out of defrost only

Usually a blend door problem which should be under factory warranty.
The default position is defrost for safety reasons. If anything goes wrong with the HVAC system the air comes out on the windshield to keep it clear.

2002 Dodge Status R/T Coupe 3.0. When you turn the A/C on the indicator flashes and it only blows warm air. Took it to Firestone to have problem diagnosed and they determined that it was not the...

If, as Firestone says, the compressor and all components are operating properly, then you should be able to feel the low pressure hoses/tubes and confirm that they are icy cold (and sweating usually) when the a/c is on. If this is the case, then your blend door is not working properly. The blend door is inside the HVAC unit under the dash, and it directs incoming air to either the a/c evaporator or the heater core, depending on what is selected on the control panel, or it 'blends' air coming through both units. The blend door itself is hard to get to, but the blend door actuator (moves the blend door according to what is selected) is sort of accessible without pulling the dash. See the link for location, and also how to self test the HVAC system.

Problem with dual zone heating only one side i check control thermost botton is ok

Sounds like the blend door actuator. It separates the driver and passenger side from getting air on the AZC system. Here are some instructions on replacing it:
The passenger side blend door actuator is used on all models equipped with Automatic Zone Control (AZC). This actuator is located on the front of the HVAC housing to the right of the floor panel transmission tunnel and cannot be removed from the passenger compartment without instrument panel or HVAC housing removal.

NOTE: This procedure is for AZC Systems (Passenger side only).

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the glove box door. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim
  3. Remove the lower I/P glove box door surround panel.
  4. Remove the dash assembly. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Dashboard / Instrument Panel\Service and Repair\Instrument Panel Assembly
  5. Remove the HVAC assembly. See: Housing Assembly HVAC\Service and Repair
  6. Unplug the wire harness connector from the blend door actuator.
  7. Remove the 2 screws that secure the blend door actuator to the HVAC housing.
  8. Remove the blend door actuator from the HVAC housing.
INSTALLATION - AZC (Passenger side only)

  1. In stall the blend door actuator on the HVAC housing and tighten the two mounting screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
  2. Plug in the wire harness connector to the blend door actuator.
  3. In stall the HVAC unit into the vehicle. See: Housing Assembly HVAC\Service and Repair
  4. Install the instrument panel assembly into the vehicle. See: Body and Frame\Interior Moulding / Trim\Dashboard / Instrument Panel\Service and Repair\Instrument Panel Assembly
  5. Evacuate the HVAC system.
  6. Recharge the HVAC system.
  7. Connect and the battery negative cable.
Hope it helps! If you need more, just send me an email at familyguy77351 at yah I wil be glad to finish helping you with more detail.
