SOURCE: Are the rear wipers and rear washers wired

I would check fuse, make sure it is good. I would pull panel and make sure you are getting 12 volts to motor, if you are it could be a bad motor, I would find out what one costs from your auto parts store, then call a reliable auto center, and get a repair quote from them, Please let me know what you find.

This sounds like the wiper control module. Most of these are a module attached to the wiper motor but are replaceable seperate from the wiper transmisson.

2001 Chrysler Sebring. Wipers do not work on high. What is the likely problem?

Hi John, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair!

The most likely cause for the wipers not working on high speed would be the wiper switch itself. BUT, other things can cause this issue as well. The high speed in the motor can be bad. Hope this helps and if you should find the time please visit my auto repair website here: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/

Wipers only work on fast. Checked the relay and its good, checked the switches and its good. What else needs to be checked?

This is (obviously) a two-speed motor. The low speed winding is burned out. Replace the motor.

Wipers only work high speed

Faulty /worn wiper stock mine has same issue although I find if you put it on slow speed not intermediate and rock switch it will come on , try spraying with electrical contact cleaner and working the switch as above see if this resolves it

Where is the wiper relay

A wiring diagram doesn't show a relay, just a 25 amp fuse in fuse panel under driver's side of dash. Intermittent working is usually from a loose or poor or corroded connection, or the switch is old and tired, or the motor is old and tired.
Here is one way to check, if you have a test light: when the wipers are not working with wiper switch on high, and key is on, pull off the connector to the wiper/washer motor module (in the engine bay, on the firewall) and check if the purple wire has power. If it does, you probably need to replace the module. Inside the module is a park relay switch (to return wipers to down position when turned off) and a circuit breaker between the motor and ground.
If the purple wire does not have power when key is on and wipers on high, the connection is lost between the switch and the module, or the switch may be malfunctioning. The switch has 5 wires, white wire from 25 amp fuse (power in to switch), a pink wire (for the washer motor), a purple wire (high speed wipers), a dark green wire (low speed wipers), and a gray wire (for the park relay switch inside the wiper/washer motor module). If you see a yellow wire also at the module, that is part of the low speed wiper circuit (the dark green wire) coming from the park relay switch and then to the motor.
Good luck. Post back if further questions, or need more help.

Wipers work except intermediate. How do I fix that?

Yes, These 2 issues could be related. I would check the wiper relay in the fuse panel under the left side of the dash. I think its on the back side of the relay panel. If that is not the cause I would look into the motor itself. Good Luck

Hi i have a hyundai coupe fx, my problem is the front wiper , it works when u use it with the screenwash but will not work on intermediate, medium, and high, back works fine

sounds like your front wiper motor and linkages are fine, just a problem with the wiper switch.
i would drop by a dealer and ask to see the IPB on the wiper mechanism and switches for your car.
be patient and courteous, usually this service is provided free. then you will know the part numbers, approximate labor, and retail cost of all parts. if they have some time ask about any tech bulletins on the issue. sometimes the wiper motors have a separate component which runs the park function which moves the wipers down after the switch is turned off. mostly this is built in but there is a chance thi circuitry is separate and i would look there first before i pulled the steering column apart.

My wipers will go on, but wont turn off, unless i turn my car off, or my ignition switch back one notch, and turn it back on...1984 oldsmobile delta 88..The switch has been replaced..Is there a relay for...

the relay is built into the wiper motor its called the pulse contol module and comes with a new wiper motor. make the wipers come on and then get them to stay on while wiper switch is in the off position, then tap the wiper motor and see if it turns off, if it does then u need a wiper motor assembly and be careful opening the hood some wiper arms will contact the hood when the hood is open and the wipers are on

Wiper moter blowing fuses when intermediate plugged in

I would advise you to check the wiring they could be causing some short circuits. That would be from the steering up to the wiper's motor.
