Question about 2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara
In the rear of the Zook, there is an oblong plastic insert panel. It pops out rather easily. Inside is your rear light wiring harness. On this harness is a plug, which is just hanging there, and attached to nothing. Buy a dedicated trailer light harness.I bought mine at NAPA: it cost a bit more than the others, but it has the other plug needed to plug into the car wiring harness. This is what I mean about a dedicated (specific) wiring harness especially designed for a Suzuki Vitara; no wires to splice or solder, everything clean and neat and easy to do. Plug the trailer harness into the car harness, and then just hide the R and L wires underneath your plastic trim. You can either have your trailer plug hard wired through a drilled hole in the body, or just leave it stuffed in the back, and have it hang out the rear door when towing.
