Question about Cars & Trucks
Bed works fine, but lately when first powered up and after tan session complete, the cooling fans will continue to cycle on and off. It just recently started doing this. Normally they would run for qpproximately 2-3 minutes after session complete and that was it, now they still do that but if I don't shut the breaker off, the fans will continue to cycle on and off seemingly with no rhyme or reason.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Electric fan on rad won't cycle.
just finished doing the exact task and i didnt find it to bad 1 hour, remove bullbar/bumper and i was able to remove with a 8mm socket ,angle drive and extension 1/4 drive.
make sure when you replace with new item you thoroughly clean surface before you put your new one on,relay has heat sinc and neads the car body cantact area to help absorb the heat,
If it is dirty and you dont clean it your new relay may overheat .
Also for all Chrysler jeep and dodge owners, PPPPlease stop supporting your local rip off dealer and look for alternatives , I use rockauto.com from america and are more than happy with price and delivery times 3-5 days and usually 1/3 the price unbelivable.

It looks like there is a technical service bulletin available you might want to check out. It is TSB No. AC002–04 it states In high ambient temperature areas, some 2004 – 2005 model year Scion xB owners may
feel that the A/C system does not blow cold enough air. This procedure provides a
method to improve this condition. Bring it in to a dealership and see what they say. I hope this helps you.

YOUR ENGINE IS RUNNING HOT.IF FAN KEEP RUNNING WHEN ENGINE IS OFF.CHECK COOLANT MAKE SURE ITS NOT LOW. REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT AND RADIATOR PRESSURE CAP.YOUR RADIATOR CORE COULD BE BLOCKED AND THE RESTRICTED GRILLE FULL OF BEBRIS AND THE.ENGINE BLOCK COOLANT PASSAGES COULD BE BLOCKED OR IGNITION TIMING COULD BE OFF.ALL THESE PROBLEMS CAN CAUSE YOUR ENGINE TO OVER HEAT.

the first suspect is the igniton switch. when this happens, take the ign key and just barlely turn it, either way, not enough to go off/on just a little tweak, it the lights come back on or flicker, that ign switch will need replacement.

This is a very common problem. It is basically a build up of all types of junk. I would do as the person above said. That is usually a sign of needing the radiator flushed. You don't have to change your thermostat. Only if you have a few extra bucks to spare then it couldn't hurt.
