Question about 2001 Acura 3.2CL
Show me how to change the bulb.
I did that 7 years ago following the shop manual information. You basicaly acces the lamp socket from under the bumper - Be sure to use long-life bulbs. Mine have never burned since replacement 80,000Mi ago.
I drive with parking lights ON at all time and I made a modification to connect these "fog-lights" with the parking lights not just with the HID headlights like they are stock. So I use HID's less...
Speaking of which I learned from my Sony TV that HID bulbs do not like to be turned ON and OFF and back ON with out cooling time.
I have another Acura CL tip for your lights... the battery ground strap to the engine corodes itself easily with winter road spray. It needs to be cleaned to renew the good connection of the alternator ground to chassis thus HID lights are noticeably brighter. (in car electricity a circuit is made of a + and a ground - Bad ground circuit makes for decreased bad + current !)
