I have a 91 ford f150, cannot find the inertia switch, looked the 2 places another website said, but it is not there. Please help, my truck runs then shuts itself off and fuel pump is working.

Please help, my truck runs then shuts itself off and fuel pump is working. Well then ,it's not the fuel inertia switch . Your guessing because you have no clue . Probably ignition problem . When it shuts off does it start right back up ? Or do you have to wait a bit ? If you hear the fuel pump running the inertia switch is fine ,this switch shuts B+ voltage off to the fuel pump . So if you hear the pump running it's not the inertis switch . There is also an ignition system , check for spark , pull a plug wire off an hold near ground . Probably the ignition module .

2002 saturn l300 doesnt want to start I want to know if anybody knows where to start looking for the problem besides the fuse box. It has a brand new battery.

If it won't start, it is very likely either fuel or spark is lost at the engine. Is the engine getting gas to it from the gas tank? Do you hear the fuel pump turn on for 2 seconds with the key in on, not start? This 2 second period is to put pressure in the line and to the fuel injectors.

If gas is getting up to the engine, next check for spark. Buy a cheap spark tester, hook it to a spark plug wire and crank the engine over. If ignition system is good, you will see a blue, snapping spark on all of the spark plug wires. If you have spark, next check the fuel injector circuit. Post back if you need help with that.

If you have no spark, aha! your ignition system has failed. Now you really do need to check all your fuses before proceeding. Most common failure with no spark is an ignition coil, a bad ignition control module, or a bad crank position sensor. Many other possibilities, but those are the most common.

For a while my 95 buick lesabre would start and cut off on me mid drive; hot, cold, full speed to not fast at all. now the car wont start. i have changed the starter, altinator, bat, plugs and wires,...

Just because you hear the fuel pump running doesn't mean the fuel pressure is correct, put a fuel pressure gauge on the car, 41-47 PSI (Pounds per Square Inch)Position the ignition switch and the A/C system in theoff position. Install a fuel pressure gauge to the vehicles fuel rail or fuel pressure test port.Confirm that no leaks are present, and visually verify the PSI reading on the gauge with the ignition in the on position.

Replace the rear wiper arm shaft

There is a plastic cover that pops off at the pivot end of the wiper arm. pulling up on this with a hook of some kind from the furthest end should release it. Under it you will find a nut that holds the wiper arm to the shaft. It's quite common for the nut to come loose and the shaft spins without moving the arm. Try tightening this nut (with the ignition on, be sure the wiper motor is off, then turn off ignition and put the wiper arm in the parked position). This is a common problem if you've ever tried to turn on the wiper when it was frozen to the glass.

Engine shakes periodically; warm or cold. Bad Coil?

the p 0300 codes gives you the clue
it is random misfires and that is predominately from injector and low fuel pressure
pulling a plug lead will amke no difference if there is no fuel in that cylinder to ignite
bad coils will be a constant miss regardless
try putting a can of quality injector cleaner in the tank to see if that fixes the problem
have a fuel pressure tset done to check for pump, filter or pressure regulator problems
