Try You Tube Video-- to see if you can find
what you need

Otherwise have a repair shop print a hard
copy of the timing chain/belt for you

a 2000 mpv should be the newer model (older model stopped 1998)
all newer models were fitted with a timing CHAIN which does not need routine replacement.

Does a timing chain need to be replaced on a 2000 Mazda MPV with 112,000 miles. No problems just curious.

timing chains let you know when its time to change them as they rattle but if you do a rebuild at say 200k then obviously change the chain/tensioner

P0340, ran rough for awhile then quit all together. tach was also erratic prior to shuting down

You have timing chain problems. You may have bent valves. I ASSUME you have a 4 cylinder engine? Special tools are needed to check and reset the timing chain, there are NO marks, So find a shop that can do MAZDA or the Dealer.
