Speed Odometer and Oil Gauge Drops

Driving my 2003 Yukon at 60mph and all of a sudden the speed odometer will drop to about 40mph and the oil gauge will also drop from about 55psi to 20psi or lower. All other gauges are OK.

GMC yukons are notorious for gauge malfunctions, there are recalls for some models
However, if you have recently changed your battery this problem can occur and will take some driving time 30 min-60 min for the computer to fully reset.

While drivingoil pressure is at 40. after half hour of highway driving oil pressure drops to 0 or below. i stop and restart oil pressure comes back. ideas?

Could be the Oil Pressure Sending Unit. I do recall GMC having issues with the instrument cluster on 2003's. Try slapping the dash when the gage reads zero.

Oil and gas gauges don't work and the speed odometer work sometimes other times every go out on 2003 Cadillac escalade

oil and fuel guages look as though they have had excess voltage applied to at some stage. these can be removed and sent to a gauge repairer. Printed circut board behind dash may have to be inspected and/or repaired. Speedo could be tested by removing sender and gear drive and spinning with cordless drill watching that you dont over speed and wreck the head unit. hope you have some success

Oil gauge goes to 80psi while I'm driving 70mph on highway, drops when I slow down. Why?

They are designed to change as the motor changes speed. If you have 80 lbs. of oil pressure than you have very good oil pressure in your engine. If it gets higher than 80, I would talk to service dept. at your local dealer.

The speed odometer and the oil gauge has stopped working but the rest of the control panel works

There are motors that move each gauge inside your dash called jumper motors. They go bad all the time in your year of car. There are companies that you can send your gauge cluster to and they will replace all of the motors for around 150 dollars. Or you can buy some on eBay and soder them in yourself.
