To replace the water pump means the cam belt covers must come off and the camshaft drive belt (timing belt), this is a very involved job and best done by a professional, if you still want to attempt the job I strongly recommend you download the factory service manuals here for a small fee. You will also need the parts kit here.

Its an easy job if you can get the car up high - like on a ramp .just one plug and one bolt to do .
The sensor is behind the exhaust pipe in the clutch bell housing in line with the main oil filter .
the whole job takes @ 3 hours to complete. Make sure you have the gaskets and a sensor safe gasket sealant. clean all surfaces thouroughly to remove all foreign objects and the old gasket material.it's all pretty self explanatory.
