Question about 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4WD
This is in reply to my post on Jan. 18 2009. My truck quit running on the interstate etc... Anyway, i changed the fuel filter and heard the lift pump running. But there appears to be no fuel getting to the fuel cannister. I craked the line coming from the lift pump (while key turned on/bump start)into the fuel cannister to see if fuel would spray out...can hear lift pump running but no fuel...unfortunately i pulled the bed of my truck to get to the fuel tank module to test it. Thought maybe the filter might be clogged etc...wild goose chase i am afraid. Chalk that one up to friends in the garage with ideas/with Budweiser. anyway, busted the main fuel line output on the fuel tank module. Now i have to buy one of those. I think my next testing approach is the lift pump? thanks
