Ok first you have to pull out the top piece where the little compartment is simply pull it straight towards the back but be carefull the cable from the hazard lights are attatched then under the open compartment below the hvac controls theres a little plastic piece that pops right out once all that is removed there are 4 screws holding in the hvac overlay and the radio take those out then youll be left with a cage type of thing holding the little open compartment, hvac overlayand the radio on the sides of the radio are 4 tourque screws they are i believe size 25 but double check and then you must unscrew the 2 screws holding in the hvac overlay and the radio and that will pop out the hvac and radio pieces are held together by little plastic pins use a screw driver to seperate those and then apply youre dash kit attatch the radio and reinstall in the opposite order

You should have screws under the dashboard under the radio. Unscrew them, and then you should have access to be able to pull it out. You will probably need a standard screwdriver in order to be able to pull the security tabs up to pull the radio all the way out. You should check with your local car parts/audio store for exact instructions.

I have nissan sentra 99 motor 2.0 timing belt

Assuming that is a motor out of a 1999 Nissan Sentra this link should be a link to a Timing Belt Diagram. There is insufficient space to explain everything involved in removing the old one and all the parts that have to be pulled, if you need those directions I highly recommend you get the Haynes Repair Manual on a 1999 Nissan Sentra for those instructions.

same this happned to me in my 2006 sentra. the volume for the radio is gone. i can tune, its just barely audible/ quiet. weirdly though it sounds perfect when playing CDs. i almost thought maybe it got switched in to mute mode or something. did you figure out your problem?

How do you disassemble the console of '02 Nissan Sentra w/Auto

lot of work. There is a bolt in the glove box that you will have to remove. first open your glove box and squeeze the two sides to drop the box out. then on the left towards the radio there is a gold bold. I believe 10mm socket would fit. unbolt that and that should free up the front to allow you to get the rest out. That little light is a pain to get to. alot of bolts and screws for one light.

After market radio in 2002 nissan sentra

Did you make sure your grounds are all good too? Even an extra ground from any metal in the area, to screw on side of radio may help.
