How odd, mine started that same problem yesterday. 155,000 miles on it. No one can figure out why.

I have a 1993 cheep chereeke it runs but it runs rough and has a bad miss in it 1 minute it has power the next minute runs rough and no power what could it be

Sounds like fuel filter. Especially this time of year with fluctuating temps condensation forms in fuel tank (water) and cause faults as you described.

The idle is not adjustable is is mainly controlled by the PCM, after the PCM receives the signals from many sensors; CKP, CPS and throttle position sensors to name a few.

Wont stay cranked

Any shop that will look at your vehicle will need to do a comprehensive diagnostics. An educated guess at what to look at is the idle air control valve. If that is receiving a signal but not responding, it may have gone bad and is in need of replacement. Before replacing, make sure that the passageway going to it is clear. Don't turn the plunger on the valve while it's off the throttle body.
