SOURCE: distributor cap firing order

Your firing order is 1-3-4-2 The rotor in the dist cap rotates clockwise, cylinders are numbered 4 at front of engine, 3,2,1 at firewall.

SOURCE: looking for firing order for 1948 ford flat head

According to my book the firing order for a 1948 V8 is 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2. The right bank is 1-2-3-4 and the left bank is 5-6-7-8. Hope this helps.

the sentence is not finished so assuming that it is "out" , then bring the no 1 piston up on compression and then reset the plug wires to no 1 then firing order for the rest
