SOURCE: Losing power to the fuel pump

well that sounds like a relay. if your car is an automatic, double check than you replaced the ASD and fuel pump relays and not the trans control relay.
if its not the relay, its probably the ECU(PCM).

SOURCE: 2003 eclipse spyder wont idle has gas can hear

Whenever you undo the terminals on your battery without hooking up a memory savor it will make your car not idle. I have delt with this situation 3 times now. Eventually as you drive it, it will reset itself but after so many times it will take longer. You'll have to get an induction service at the dealership to reset the idleing. It cost about $130.

I hope this helps you,
Amy

SOURCE: where is the fuel pump relay at on my 2002

relay is the problem if it dies in seconds after starting. Mitsubishi will show you exactly were it is if no body else does. Sorry I do not work on this model although all cars have a fuel pump relay and operates the same way

You need to check the fuel pump pressure and I would change the fuel filter in the process. Sounds like you may have a bad fuel pump.

Crank but wont start after i had drove it around and parked

It sounds like your coolant temp sensor, you have two in your car, one goes to your dash and will tell you what temp your car is and the other runs to the ecm and adjusts the air fuel mixture according to the engine temp. Basically the choke, think of it like trying to start a lawn mower keeping the fuel lever on low.

2002 eclipse spider . every once in awhile after it warms up it will not start. Wait 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and car starts just fine. it has happened twice now.

Sounds like it may be running rich and flooding. (too much fuel). Could be the fuel pressure regulator or a bad injector.Sticky Injector would be my guess.
