    Is it all 3 brake lamps that do not work, or just the stop/turn/tail ones ?

Its probably just a fuse... happened to me before..check ur fuse box (should be under your steering wheel or next to the engine, by the passenger's side) if this isnt it, check the wiring diagrams that come in the drivers manual

There's a switch on the brake pedal arm, the switch controls the brake lights. It may need an adjustment or replacement.

2004 f150 heritage. Third brake light works but tthe two lower brake lights won't work. New bulbs. Any ideas?


check fuses in both fuse panels, then check brake light switch third brake light works off of brake switch too but diferent wire

You have problem with your harness/receiver plug. Your tail light wire is broken somewhere.

brake lights come on? if the brake pedel switch isnt working it wont let you out of park. also a steep hill can make it hard to move out of park.

Thrid bake light works, but no tail brake lights


Check for missing brake light relay in central junction box behind battery. I had same problem with my 2004. Turned out the brake light relay had been taken out when car was take out of service.
