Question about 2004 Lexus RX 330

Open Question

What does it mean when my lexus RX330 cruise control light flashes?

I just replaces my brake light switch to solve the problem of about 6 warning lights randomly coming on while driving. Now my green "cruise" indicator light will randomly start flashing. If I turn my cruise off and back on it will stay solid (til the next time).

Make brake light is, not ABS on my 2000 Lexus RX 300

The brake lights are controled basicly with a switch mounted to the brake pedal . In most cases it is adjustable by adjusting a nut that will eighter lenghten or shorten the travel of the plunger at the stop point . So if the lights stay on with no pedal pressure the adjustment needs to be shorter and if they are not comeing on it would need to be longer . However the question isn"t vary clear to me .My brake light is not ABS on my Lexus RX300. Try to find out what else is efficted there are other switches involved like the cruise control brake switch witch when you hit the brake will shut the cruise control off and is wired to the main brake switch . Or is the vehicle pulling in one deriction or the other when you apply the brake that would be a brake pad or shoe problem . So how do the brakes work . If you could clarify the problem i could help you much more

My cruise control won't work and my brake light is on. The car is a 1994 Toyota Camry. Thank you.

Your brakes warning light or your actual brake lights? If it is your warning light that can come Monday if you're park break is on or slightly on or the switch that says that it is on is faulty, in which case it may tell your cruise control to turn off. If your brake lights stay on there's something pul to you about your switch by the pedal as your cruise will not work when you hit the bricks and this will be perceived as you hitting the brakes. A break warning light will also, come on if your brake fluid is low.

HI, I have a 1988 Ford Ranger, V-6, 2.9L. I've had problems with the engine stalling on an intermittent basis. The first time it happened was when I switched on the cruise but it has happened since with or...

I solved this problem so I'm posting this to help others. I was getting a code indicating a problem with the BOO switch (brake on/off). C the switch which is located on the brake pedal and continued to have a code 74. I found out that the cruise control has a redundant brake on/off switch at the end of the cruise control vacuum hose which is also located near the top of the brake pedal. I disconnected and plugged the vacuum hose leading to this switch and removed the cruise control from the engine compartment. This solved the trouble code problem although I don't have cruise anymore.
